One of the most common questions I am asked by agents is “What kind of Medicare lead programs does Pinnacle make available”? To answer that question and give a brief description of our lead programs, I’ll discuss what leads and training Pinnacle can offer to our agents.

Prospect list

A prospect list is exactly what it sounds like. Too many times have agents told me about the agencies that had given them free T65 leads, only to have it not pan out the way they would have liked. Transparency is important when talking about lead programs- it is an investment for your business!

Pinnacle Financial Services offers our agents both a T65 and a 66+ thousand names prospect list at no charge. We can be specific with this as well from the demographic, either T65 or 66+, and can adjust the income level. Additionally, Pinnacle can pick from multiple languages for those that are bilingual speakers. Just remember, with a list of “free leads” there is more leg work.

Per Piece Mailer

If you are looking for a lead program that has a guaranteed response and with an order that is filled in its entirety, Pinnacle has the solution for you!

With our program, we can specify the areas you would like to target and/or adjustable household incomes, providing peace of mind- what you paid for, you are getting back in full. Bulk Orders

Pinnacle Financial Services also provides bulk mailers to our agents. Several vendors we partner with have multiple options for our agents to choose from. You could look to do a bulk order and want to target the D-SNP market, or even want to do a bulk order with your current book of business and inform them you do life and annuity on top of Medicare.

With the bulk orders, agents are looking between 1.5% up to 2% return on average if mailing out to Medicare clients in the Turning 65 market or 66+. However, with dual-eligible clients, you return higher rates. Pinnacle has seen an increase in return up to 13% in certain areas. We offer plenty of training on D-SNP products, so if this is a new area for you, we will be there every step of the way.

If you’re an insurance agent, at any point in your career, you probably have been promised cheap final expense leads. You’ve been told these leads are great and they’re really inexpensive. You’ve been told you should close 2 to 3 of them by accident and should sell another 2 or 3 with your skills. They say you get what you pay for! And most of the time, they are right.

Where Can I Get Cheap Final Expense Leads?

There are many FMO’s out there and you have many choices when it comes to where you place your business. Some FMO’s print their own leads and offer you the chance to buy directly from them. You can also get leads directly from lead vendors for a fee.

What’s the Difference Between Leads From FMO’s and Vendors?

There is absolutely no difference! Both hire people to obtain this information from the public records.  But when working with Pinnacle Financial Services as your FMO there are reduced costs many times.

What is the Cost Difference Between FMO and Vendors?

Leads that you get working with Pinnacle usually don’t cost as much due to bulk purchasing from the vendor. When producing a steady sales volume they can also be free due to lead credits.  Lead vendors usually have a direct mail lead program or a per-piece lead. Some vendors even offer FaceBook leads. Most vendors have the standard cost of doing business and operations cost that they need to pass on and therefore cost slightly more.

Pre – Sets: $64 per appointment

Pre-Set Appointments with teachers (k-12 and state colleges/universities), hospital employees, police, firemen, and veterans. All are state or federal pension eligible and/or have individual retirement accounts. You pick when you want appointments through a shared calendar. Appointments currently held virtually using ZOOM , GoToMeeting , or just via phone. No up-front startup costs. Only pay for appointments that are kept. You are not charged for canceled or rescheduled appointments.

Life & Annuity – Carriers & Commissions

We have a wide range of carriers for life insurance & annuities. Commissions are paid directly from the carrier and differ between carrier and product. As a sales director at Pinnacle Financial Services, one of the most popular questions I often get is “What are your Final Expense and Medicare lead programs?” Now of course the follow-up question from that is “which lead program should I use?”  The simple answer could be “both”.  But often as a new insurance agent that just might not be in your budget.  As a Sales Director in our Medicare department I may seem to have a bias by saying this, but I usually always recommend Medicare leads.

Reas0n One: Cost Matters

I usually see final expense leads going for about $28-$30 per lead. Our Medicare leads come out at about half of that, not to mention if you qualify for our marketing coop program. Call for more information.

Reas0n Two: Cross-Selling

When purchasing final expense leads, yes, they will all be final expense prospects but not always Medicare-eligible prospects. Whereas Medicare leads will be 65 and you can also talk about Final Expense plans to everyone. With the saturated T65 leads market I often recommend targeting outside the 6-month window and creating a life or final expense sale to get a policy in the household followed by a Medicare conversation when they are eligible. This will also assist with client retention, when increasing from two policies to three in a household your client retention rate rises from around 50%-60% to over 90%.

Now I am not trying to say our Final Expense lead programs are not effective, they are, and we have success with them. If you would like to hear about those please reach out to our Final Expense team.
