We have 42 plans with a $100+ Part B premium reduction and aim to have the highest giveback in the market.

Giveback plans increase the value of a member’s monthly Social Security check. If your client is not receiving a Social Security check, they will see a reduction in the amount they owe for Medicare Part B premium.

The Part B reduction can take up to 3 months to appear in a member’s check, but payment will be made retroactively for missed months.

Note: Giveback plans are not optimal for members who have their Part B premium paid for by the state through Medicaid, as they will not see an increase in their Social Security checks.

Earn more when you submit a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) for your Medicare Advantage members.

Completing a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) is an important part of helping Medicare Advantage members get connected with the support they need.

When to complete the Health Risk Assessment:

  1. HRAs can be completed immediately after submitting the enrollment application. Include the HRA in your sales conversation.
  2. HRAs can also be submitted for current members who do not have a HRA on file.

2024 Star Ratings: Action Required

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released the 2024 Star Ratings and Independence Blue Cross (IBX) Medicare Advantage plans have earned four stars on the Keystone 65 HMO, and 4.5 stars on the Personal Choice PPO. Inside each enrollment kit is a Star Rating Insert for that plan. You must replace the 2023 Star Rating Insert with the 2024 Star Rating Insert.  FULL ARTICLE

    New Text Message Outreach for PDP Members to Help Resolve RFI Applications

    As previously communicated, Wellcare utilizes automated conversational text messages in order to communicate with our Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) members. Members with a mobile number on file may be receiving the welcome message as well as other periodic text messages from the sender, “Jen at Wellcare.

    Heading Text 3. In addition to the previous messages sent to PDP members, a new Request for Information (RFI) campaign will launch this week. Details about this campaign are listed below.

    Request for Information (RFI) Texts

    An RFI campaign will begin this week and run through Dec. 2023. This targeted campaign will include one text message per week from “Jen” to applicants in RFI status in an attempt to obtain missing application information. There will be a transfer option available to the RFI team to complete the application. Applicants who provide the missing information will be removed from future outreach.

    Text Message Examples:

    • “Hi [FirstName], it’s Jen from Wellcare. Someone may have called you regarding your prescription drug plan enrollment application request. We still need some of your information to complete it. To finalize your application, when are you available for a call?” Text STOP to cancel.
    • “Hi [FirstName], this is Jen from Wellcare again. We tried reaching you last week – some information is still missing to complete your enrollment application request. When are you available for a call to finish your request?” Text STOP to cancel.
    • “Hi [FirstName], Jen from Wellcare reaching out one last time! Don’t let any missing information stop you from completing your enrollment application request for the prescription drug plan. When can we call you to finish your application?” Text STOP to cancel.
