Medicare’s Open Enrollment Period (OEP) provides Medicare Advantage beneficiaries a one-time opportunity to make a change to their 2024 plan. During this time, you will have opportunities as well; to support prospects that are seeking help to make a change, and to strengthen your role as a trusted Medicare advisor.

Know the rules

You can help beneficiaries, who reach out to you, find a plan that is better for them. Read our OEP Fact Sheet to ensure you know what you can and can’t do to grow your business during OEP.

Retention opportunity

Be proactive! Take time to check in with your clients to ensure they understand their benefits and have what they need to begin using them. Doing so will help strengthen your rapport and may impact plan retention.

Nationwide Peak® 10 Rates: Effective 1/1/2024

Applications are subject to a 60 calendar-day rate-lock period.

The rate lock will provide the greater of the rates available during the 60 days based on the application signed date or issue date, as long as the contract is in good order and funded within 60 calendar days from the application date. Otherwise, the contract will receive only the current rates available at the time of issuance.

We are making adjustments to some cap and participation rates on F&G’s fixed indexed annuity (FIA) products, as well as on our multi-year guaranteed annuities (MYGA). New rates will be effective on January 3, 2024.

MYGA rate adjustments

We are changing rates for the FG Guarantee-Platinum® 3, 5, and 7. New rates will be effective January 3, 2024.

FIA rate adjustments

Effective January 3, 2024, we are changing cap and participation rates on some of the interest crediting options for the following products:

  • Accelerator Plus® 10 & 14
  • FG AccumulatorPlus® 7 & 10
  • F&G Flex Accumulator®
  • F&G Power Accumulator® 7 & 10
  • Performance Pro®
  • Prosperity Elite® 7, 10 & 14

Important Reminders

Effective January 3, 2024, we are changing cap and participation rates on some of the interest crediting options for the following products:

  • For applications received before January 3, 2024, we will issue the policy with the current rates.
  • For applications received on or after January 3, 2024, we will issue the policy with the new rates.
  • Standard rate lock rules apply. Please refer to our rate lock procedures for more details.
