Medicare Supplement plans provide are important for paying costs not covered by original Medicare Parts A and B. With a Humana Medicare Supplement with extra services Humana has gone one step further. This package of extra benefits is intended to improve members’ overall healthcare experiences in addition to covering the gaps left by Medicare as part of a traditional Medicare Supplement.

Let’s explore these additional services:

Discounts on services

Vision Care: Members can save with providers in EyeMed’s Select network including LensCrafters®, Pearle Vision®, and Target Optical®.

Prescription medicine: Discounts available on some medicines at the drugstore with a Humana member ID.

Hearing aids and services: Discounts available through HearUSA and TruHearing®.

Lifeline medical alert system: Members can choose from multiple fall detection service options from Lifeline® at discounted prices.

Managing health

  • Humana Well Dine®*: Members may get 14 nutritious meals delivered to their door after an overnight stay in a hospital or nursing facility. *Not available in Montana or North Dakota.
  • HumanaFirst® Nurse Advice Line: A 24-hour a day, seven days a week toll-free line where members can speak with a registered nurse about non-emergency illnesses or injuries.
  • SilverSneakers fitness program**: Basic fitness center membership at any participating SilverSneakers® facilities. Includes group classes and working with a trained adviser to develop an exercise plan. SilverSneakers Steps®, an at-home option, is also available. **SilverSneakers is not available with Humana Achieve Medicare Supplement plans.
  • MyHumana Mobile app and website: Access to Humana.com or our secure mobile app to view plan benefits, claims, and more.

Enhanced Bonus Opportunity

You will receive a cash bonus when you sell our Medicare supplement product in the following states from September 1 – December 31, 2023.

Qualifying Business

You need a minimum of five Medicare supplement policies issued in a month. Your policies that count toward the

minimum can be:

  • Those from any state
  • All Plans we offer in any state
  • Underwritten, Open Enrollment, Guaranteed Issue

Payment

Whereas the criteria is broad to help you meet the monthly five-policy minimum, the bonus pays:

  • For Plans F, G and N in the states listed above
  • $250 cash per issued underwritten policy (includes internal and affiliate conversions, except in North Carolina)
  • $30 per issued policy for Open Enrollment business
  • (excludes internal and affiliate conversions)

Please note:

  • Excludes all Guaranteed Issues and under age-65 business
  • Internal and affiliate conversions on underwritten business are eligible for payment only when the original writing agent submits the application
  • The policy must be in force at time payment occurs
  • Payment is based on the month in which the policy is effective. Policy effective date means the date in which the policy is enforced.
  • The policy issue date is the underwriting disposition date.

Eligibility

You are eligible to earn a cash payout on Medicare supplement business you place as a producer (personal production only; individuals or agencies may not qualify based on business placed by down-line producers) for policies underwritten by Mutual of Omaha or its affiliates. Some exclusions apply.

Broker Bonus for Idaho, Indiana, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, South Carolina and Wisconsin

Timeframe, Eligibility, Qualifying Business, and Payment Schedule are the same as previously mentioned.

Payment

  • When you meet the monthly five-policy minimum, the bonus pays:
  • $40 per Underwritten, Open Enrollment and Guaranteed Issue applications
  • For Plans F, G and N (NM39 in Wisconsin)

Please note:

  • Internal and affiliate conversions are eligible for payment only when the original writing agent submits the application
  • Policy must be in force at time payment occurs
  • Payment is based on the month in which the policy took effect

Miscellaneous

  • Mutual of Omaha reserves the right to change, limit or cancel any promotion, rule or award at any time and for any reason

  • You must be currently contracted and actively representing Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company or its affiliate at the time of the award

  • You must be in good standing with Mutual of Omaha’s Regulatory Affairs at the time of the award

  • No substitution for, or transfer of the award, will be allowed

  • The costs of the award will be reported to you as taxable income on IRS Form 1099

  • Special Agents’ cash awards are allocated to their agency

  • This promotion is void where prohibited by law

Individual medicare supplement marketing allowance program

Qualification Period: April 1, 2023 – June 30, 2023

Marketing Allowance:

$200 – for each issued Underwritten Application

Eligible States:

AL, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NE, NH, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, and WV.

*Base and all riders forWI.

Qualifying Product:

Plan F, G, and N Medicare Supplement* 

Payout Details:

To receive a payout you must submit 3 applications within a calendar month within the qualification period and the policies must be issued within 30 days of the signature dates. Each month is counted separately.

Other Details:

Application signature date must be within the qualification period. Payouts will be processed within 45 days following the end of the calendar month in which the application is issued. Payout will be charged back if a qualifying application is not taken after the issue. Agent must be properly licensed and appointed as required in the issuing state and must be in good standing with the Prosperity Life Group member companies during the incentive period and at the time of the award.
