Marketing Reminder

As a reminder, all 2024 marketing activities for both new and existing members are permissible as of October 1. While it’s imperative that you remain compliant by not engaging in any application activity during this time, this window can be an important opportunity to lay the groundwork for a more successful sales season. In addition to educational events and focusing on new member marketing, don’t forget that directing your efforts toward your existing members during this time can also expedite your sales once October 15 arrives. Try reaching out to current members using these two principles to guide your conversation:

  • Connect with current members to explain any upcoming changes in their existing plan. This is a great opportunity to reinforce their understanding of brand new benefits that may enhance their plan satisfaction.
  • Take time to discover any changes in their needs that may open up new plan opportunities, such as changes in their health, new prescription drug needs or ancillary benefits they might be needing in the upcoming year.

PDP Sales Materials Order Refresher

Ordering Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) materials is quick and easy. Use this two-step process to get started with your order:

Step 1 – From the CustomPoint home page select PDP-Market from the drop down menu.

Step 2 – Choose Plan Year 2024 and select Find to bring up all PDP materials available to order.

Notes

  • The PDP 2024 Enrollment Guide is available in English or Spanish only.
  • Benefits Highlights sheets are new for the 2024 plan year and are versioned by state.
  • The CustomPoint home page contains a Helpful Documents section with a user guide, FAQ, and other CustomPoint 2024 materials available for download.
