Temporary Changes to ClassicMark® and LibertyMark® Freedom FIAs To End After 7/13/23; Product Approvals in More States
Due to the approval of regulatory product filings in DC, KY, MD, RI, and VT, temporary changes to ClassicMark and LibertyMark Freedom fixed indexed annuities will come to a close in those states after July 13, 2023. In addition, starting July 14, 2023, LibertyMark Freedom 10 and 10 Plus will be available in DC and RI, and ClassicMark 10 and 10 Plus will be available in VT.
Effective with applications signed on or after Friday, July 14, 2023:
- Surrender charges will no longer be “lite” for ClassicMark 10 and 10 Plus in DC, KY, MD, and RI or for LibertyMark Freedom 10 and 10 Plus in KY, MD, and VT.
- The upfront premium bonus on ClassicMark 10 Plus will revert to 4% in DC, KY, MD, and RI.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
| Deadline to receive “lite” surrender charges for ClassicMark 10 and 10 Plus in DC, KY, MD, and RI and LibertyMark Freedom 10 and 10 Plus in KY, MD, and VT. | Applications must be signed on or before July 13, 2023, and received by Americo Financial Life and Annuity Insurance Company’s administrative office on or before 5 p.m., Central time, July 13, 2023. |

| Updated Disclosure Document | An updated annuity disclosure document will be available on FireLight® July 13, 2023, and is required for applications signed on and after July 14, 2023.
