Medicare OEP Open Enrollment Period

Medicare Open Enrollment Period, or Medicare OEP, is an opportunity for clients to make certain changes to their coverage. In essence, OEP will replace the Medicare Disenrollment Period – which was January 1st to February 14th every year.

Medicare OEP will run from January 1st to March 31st, and will give clients a one-time change to a “like plan”.

Like Plan options include:

• MAPD to MAPD
• MAPD to Original Medicare (and a Part D plan)
• MA Only plan to a MA Only plan
• MA Only plan to Original Medicare
