Cigna | MA’s HRA is Live!

The link for our new health risk assessment (HRA) is live!  Be sure you are ready to start completing those HRAs with your customers on day 1 of availability.

Reminders about our new HRA

  • You must be contracted, licensed, appointed, and certified to sell Cigna Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Training on the HRA must be complete and can be found at Producers’ University under My Learning.
  • You’re eligible to earn $75 for each HRA you facilitate with your Cigna Medicare Advantage customers with effective dates on or after January 1, 2022 and submit appropriately.
  • The HRA survey tool will be available on November 12.

We know what you’re thinking: “But what about customers with 2022 effective dates that I’ve already enrolled? What about their HRA?” The good news is, you have until December 31 to facilitate the HRA with those customers.

Starting with customers enrolled on or after November 13, brokers must facilitate and submit the customer HRA via the online survey tool and may do so simultaneously at the time of enrollment or within two calendar days of the member’s application sign date to be eligible for the HRA payment.

You can expect to start receiving HRA payments in February 2022.

Guidelines for conducting HRA The agent is allowed to outreach the customer one time after the sale to facilitate the HRA, and the agent must maintain a record of outreaches for potential audit in the future. If the HRA is not completed at the time of sale, the agent must schedule a follow-up appointment date within two calendar days to facilitate the HRA.
